Why Many Churches Are Closing

Not endless rows, of pew spectators,
Passive, unaccountable, few partakers,
Instead of church routines, traditions,
Learn to train, disciple-makers.
Struggling with Forgiveness

For Jesus sacrifice for sin,
Set us free, by selfless love,
Now by faith, we must forgive,
So go forgive, grace from above.
Jesus’ Command…Will Churches Obey?

So may church leaders, see beyond,
Customs, traditions, familiar ways,
To awaken, to Jesus’ command,
Learn disciple-making, and obey.
Yearning or Spurning?

Yes many spurning, ignoring Jesus,
Choosing death, and endless rife,
Follow deception and destruction,
May they repent, receive His life.
Our Homeless Babe

Be like the ‘Wise-Men’, seeking Jesus,
Not chasing wealth of this world,
But seeking first, His kingdom,
May we obey, all Jesus’ words.
Wrong Feelings… Feeding or Defeating?

So not focused, on wrong feelings,
Ever forgive, instead to love,
Grow not weary, nor frustrated,
Keep claiming grace, from above.
Degrees or Disciple-Makers?

Discipling ministries, now growing,
Teach to equip, train ‘man-to-man’,
May we too, obey Jesus,
Go reach all nations, with His plan.
Biblical, Disciple-Making Church Models

So may our churches, now awaken,
To obey, and pray and plan,
Asking God, to raise up laborers,
Disciple-making, is Jesus’ command.
By Faith

Yes by faith, not pew spectators,
But by faith, become His laborer,
Not wrapped up, in our own lives,
But by faith, obey the Savior.
Trapped in Unforgiveness

May God fill us, by His Spirit
By grace, overcome unforgiveness
So no longer trapped, and bound
Be set free, by our forgiveness.
