Yom Kippur-Day of Atonement

Despite our striving to be ‘good’
We fall short, are unrighteous
Messiah’s offering, atonement
By faith, we’re made righteous.

Futility or Fullness?

And put on the new man
Created according to God
In true righteousness and holiness
In His fullness, now daily trod.

God Uses Man

So forsake selfish wants
Earthly pleasures and pressures
Instead “Here am I”
“LORD, You are my treasure.”

A Complete Jew

Trusting, God’s Messiah
His Son, offered for our sin
To forgive us, make us righteous
Circumcise us within.

God’s Joy, or Our Feelings?

“You will show me, the path of life
In Your presence, fullness of joy
Weeping, may endure for a night
But in the morning, comes joy.”

Counting our Blessings

So many riches, in Christ
We are rich, beyond measure
A weight of glory, eternal
In Christ Jesus, our treasure.

Faith amidst Adversity

So then friend, you can find
In your darkest, deep hour
God is ever, our hope
Can uphold us, by His power.

Faith amidst Trials

For our testing and trial
Are to strengthen our trust
As He bids us, to believe
All to Him, entrust.

God’s Morality or Mine?

For each day, we must choose
God’s morality, or mine
Follow His right and wrong
May we abide, in His vine.
