How to Deny Self (A slave of righteousness, not sin)

Yielding daily, to God’s Spirit;
Remain faithful, be not enmeshed;
So resist, when we are tempted;
Not surrendering to our flesh.

“Since all sin, and fall short”;
“A slave of sin, is not freed;
But, if the Son makes you free;
You shall be free indeed!”

If serving God, and others;
No longer wrapped up, with ‘Me’;
Obey His Word, trust Jesus;
He will transform us, be set free!

So build bridges, not barriers;
Choose to love, not to resent;
Walk in love, don’t be aggrieved;
Instead, God’s joy and peace present.

Let us be pleasing to our God
Bringing to Him, more glory
Lest instead, we feed our flesh
Dishonor God, with our story.

Thro’ Jewish Scriptures, a Jewish Savior;
God has spread, His Good News;
All His covenants, promises;
God has spoken, through the Jews.

For God’s covenant, promises;
To Abram, his descendants;
God will defeat, fulfill His Word;
Will overcome, for His remnant.

Just as Israel, in the wilderness;
As Jesus, in the desert;
Know our God, will supply;
For every need, He is present

“Keep your heart, with all diligence;
For from it, spring life issues;
Put away, a deceitful mouth;
And perverse lips, far from you”.

For by faith, they could enter;
Doubting, denying kept them out;
For faith is pleasing to God;
