No Complaining – Always Give Thanks

So do rejoice, evermore
And pray without ceasing
In everything, give thanks
This is God’s will, unceasing.

Atoned for our sin
Will we trust Him, or man?

Churches Teach, but Don’t Disciple

One-on-one, in small groups
Much time, mentoring, Jesus discipled
Equipped and trained, ‘how’ to obey
To reproduce, go make disciples.

Great Faith, God is Able

Fully trusting God’s promises
With obedience to His word
Being steadfastness in prayer
By circumstances, undeterred.

His Earthen Vessels

We’re challenged, on every side
Not crushed, tho’ hard-pressed
But thro’ Jesus, not despairing
Our Great Potter, knows best.

God’s Pressure Cooker

God uses all ways
To turn up the heat
To soften our hearts
Our hardness, defeat.

Victorious Suffering

Set our mind, on things above
Tho’ still suffering, not healed
Be not focused, on our feelings
Walk by faith, in our ordeal.

Be Faithful, Endure

So, be of good cheer
For Jesus has overcome
The world, the flesh and the devil
Know in Him, we have won.

Chronic Suffering and Pain

So, while we may not be healed
Nor from suffering, delivered
But instead of dejection
We can rejoice, not be embittered.
