Deny Self, Take Up Our Cross

So favorite lusts, carnal desires
Will find no place, in our heart
That God’s Spirit, fill within
Rules and reigns, in every part.
So favorite lusts, carnal desires;
Will find no place, in our heart;
That God’s Spirit, fill within;
Rules and reigns, in every part.
Dying to Self

Since now our life, is not our own;
We are created, and redeemed;
Not to succumb, to selfish wants;
But daily live, with God esteemed.
See Daily Victory!

Here, Jesus tells us the key;
To see victory, each day;
That we walk, in His Spirit;
Not our fleshly, carnal way.
Daily Take Up My Cross

Set my face as a flint;
My heart and my will;
To but please, my God;
So Holy Spirit, come fill.
Denying Ourself

Start ignoring, rejecting;
Those carnal desires;
Not feeding our flesh;
Starve of all, it requires.
Our Imprinting, as a Believer

We must seek, God will lead;
Learn from mentors, start partaking;
Equipping us, for this ministry;
Obey, go forth, disciple-making.
Severe Suffering

And so in spite, of dark days
Facing God’s ways, not understood
Amidst adversity, we would not choose
Keep trusting God, all for our good.
Learn from Political Dishonesty

Though we have, our Constitution
Our Bill of Rights, at core
But overridden, by deception
By duplicity, and even more.
Is the Modern Church Biblical?

Since the church, is Christ’s body
We’re His temple, a living stone
But, seems modern church goals
Miss disciple making, so little known.
Evolving, Dissolving or Disciple-Making Church?

With each discipled, taught abiding
To learn obeying, go make disciples
Teaching them, disciple-making
To reach the nations, pray for revivals.
