Self-Serving or God Serving in Our Days?

Do read God’s Word, the Bible;
Obey His will and ways;
He’s not mocked, if we stay foolish
He is the Judge, of all our days.

Lord, teach us to number;
Our days, that we apply;
Our hearts unto wisdom;
Lest wasted, dissatisfied.

As we trust Jesus, for salvation;
Lift up prayer, for each soul;
So trust God, for every need;
Grow your faith, be made whole.

Oft’ weighed down, with our worries;
Concerns, cares that we carry;
So, feel anxious, agitated;
Bearing burdens, we can’t bury.

For Jesus bids, drink His waters;
We shall never thirst again;
His living waters, a fountain;
Springs to eternal life…Amen!

Yielding daily, to God’s Spirit;
Remain faithful, be not enmeshed;
So resist, when we are tempted;
Not surrendering to our flesh.

If serving God, and others;
No longer wrapped up, with ‘Me’;
Obey His Word, trust Jesus;
He will transform us, be set free!

Just as Israel, in the wilderness;
As Jesus, in the desert;
Know our God, will supply;
For every need, He is present

Keep looking upward, not inward;
As a flint, set your face;
Obey Jesus, commands and vision;
Do keep laboring, by faith and grace.

From godless atheists, in sin;
Restore our campuses, LORD keep shaking;
Throughout our Land, see many saved;
May we see, a great awakening.
