Deny Self and Be Filled

Jesus told us, deny self
And take up our cross
Come follow after Him
Count all else as loss.

Deny Self

You must give up all ‘rights’
Your old life, a ‘foreclosure’
Since redeemed, by Christ Jesus
You are His, a new owner.

Dealing with Doubt

Know faith comes from hearing
Believe, read God’s Word
God’s people stepped out
Obeying what’s heard.

Count it All Joy

And so count it all joy
Tho’ He prunes, ’tis worthwhile
Bear more fruit, of God’s Spirit
Do give thanks, for each trial.

By Faith

Know faith is not wishing
Nor wanting, nor feeling
But faith is believing
Obeying God’s leading.

But Our Eyes Are On You

For we have no power
Know not, what to do
Against this great foe
But our eyes are on You.

Blocked Wells

Like Isaac of old
God leads us each day
Through trials, thro’ troubles
Blocked wells, on our way.

Blocked up Toilets

So see trials and troubles
As stepping stones, in faith
Trust Jesus to grow you
Learn to rest, in His grace.

Bitter or Better?

Not to wallow in self
But instead, be God’s letter
A testimony of grace
Grow not bitter, but better.

Being Tested in the Dark

May we learn, to thank God
Worship Him, despite all
Fierce adversity, or blessings
Before God, humbly fall.
