Overcoming…in this World

For blessed is the man who trusts,
The LORD Jesus, is their hope,
Despite, trials and tribulations,
In Christ we conquer, not just cope.

Amazing Grace, Will We Obey?

So we must share, His Good News,
Walk in love, keep His commands,
As His disciples, obey go forth,
And make disciples, in all lands.

Are We Willing to Change?

Allow God’s Spirit, and others,
Start to trust and obey,
Be set free, from heavy burdens,
See our God, renew our ways.

From Seasons of Suffering

Instead, we offer up our bodies,
A living sacrifice, upon His altar,
So be the fragrance of Christ,
Amidst your suffering, do not falter.

How to Deny Self (A slave of righteousness, not sin)

Yielding daily, to God’s Spirit;
Remain faithful, be not enmeshed;
So resist, when we are tempted;
Not surrendering to our flesh.

Don’t Live in Your Bubble!

If serving God, and others;
No longer wrapped up, with ‘Me’;
Obey His Word, trust Jesus;
He will transform us, be set free!

Disobeying God, as His People

Yes God restores, if we’re repentant;
Start confessing, and conforming;
Start obeying, wholly yielding;
By His Spirit, filling, transforming.

Ashamed of the Gospel?

If we’re ashamed of Jesus;
And of His words, He warns;
The Son of Man, will be ashamed;
Of each of us, when He returns.

Enter His Rest

Have you entered God’s presence;
Of quiet rest, and peace;
To abide in Christ Jesus;
From ‘self’, be released?
