Carrying or Casting our Cares?

“And so be anxious for nothing,
But always, by prayer and supplication,
With thanksgiving, let your requests,
Be made known to God”…in faith, no hesitation.
From Seasons of Suffering

Instead, we offer up our bodies,
A living sacrifice, upon His altar,
So be the fragrance of Christ,
Amidst your suffering, do not falter.
Casting Our Cares

Oft’ weighed down, with our worries;
Concerns, cares that we carry;
So, feel anxious, agitated;
Bearing burdens, we can’t bury.
Fill Me, O LORD!

For Jesus bids, drink His waters;
We shall never thirst again;
His living waters, a fountain;
Springs to eternal life…Amen!
Keep Looking Upward…. Not Inward!

Keep looking upward, not inward;
As a flint, set your face;
Obey Jesus, commands and vision;
Do keep laboring, by faith and grace.
Spiritual Pollution

Since our body, is God’s temple;
Is not our own, we must be pure;
Be not tainted, with pollution;
Sin ruins lives, yet even more.
Delight Yourself in the LORD

Do we so, desire God;
To awaken, and fill us;
Are we hungry, and thirsty;
To draw nearer, to Jesus?
Comforts and Compromise

With our freedoms and rights;
We so soon, are self-serving;
Then in place of surrender;
We’re caught up, with our yearnings.
Get Rid of Old Baggage!

For if still, ungodly attitudes;
With our mindset, still unchanged;
We’ve not brought, all to Jesus;
So be transformed, wholly changed.
Pulling Down Strongholds

Old baggage, that binds;
Improper patterns, still prevailing;
Harmful habits, wrong reactions;
Let our God, start changing.
