Church Traditions or Jesus’ Vision?

Equipping saints, for the ministry,
How to obey and multiply,
Mentored, trained to make disciples,
To reproduce…. will we apply?

Discipleship…Disciple-Makers

See our lives, as we’re obeying,
His ‘agape’ love, we are changing,
Now Jesus’ vision, as His disciples,
Obey and go, disciple-making.

Forgiveness-Knowing but Not Obeying

No more bitterness nor anger,
Start forgiving and forgetting,
For in Jesus, we’re forgiven,
May we repent, by grace resetting.

Calvary Chapel’s ‘Missing’ Ministry

So, not just faithful pastors, leaders,
Also, disciple-making from the pews,
Learning discipling, and equipping,
Keep multiplying, to spread Good News.

Empty Rituals or Jesus?

While Jesus said, “I am the way,
The truth, and the life,
No one comes to the Father,
Except through Me”….alone suffice.

God’s Churches- Raising Up Laborers?

So not more time, spent in doctrines
Not so caught, in denominational traditions
While the multitudes, are lost and perishing
May churches invest, in Jesus’ Mission.

Our Omission- Jesus’ Commission

And so be faithful, available,
Staying teachable, be discipled,
Be equipped, to reproduce,
Learn disciple-making, don’t be idle.

Faith Lessons, from Israel

Keep being filled, by God’s Spirit,
Walk by faith, ‘self’ daily dying,
Be not rebellious, nor self-serving,
Seek to obey, God’s Word applying.

The Unreached

And so few laborers, are raised up;
In Jesus’ vision, most not partaking;
May our church leaders, start equipping;
Learn to begin, disciple-making.

Jesus Commands Us to Make Disciples

Yes, learn to witness, make disciples;
Seek to be, a disciple-maker;
Be not wrapped up, in ourselves;
Jesus calls us, our LORD and Savior.
