Forgiveness-Knowing but Not Obeying

No more bitterness nor anger,
Start forgiving and forgetting,
For in Jesus, we’re forgiven,
May we repent, by grace resetting.

Selfish or Selfless?

So may we stop, and reconsider,
Stay largely selfish, or be selfless?
Self-absorbed, or loving others,
Obeying Jesus…..you’re not helpless!

Downcast and Discouraged?

Know God, comforts the downcast,
And gives grace, for each need,
Our hope, ever in the LORD,
He never fails us, always succeeds!

Walk in Agape Love

So will we choose, to obey,
To live our lives, for His glory,
Selfless giving and forgiving,
Share Jesus’ love, declare His story?

Empty Rituals or Jesus?

While Jesus said, “I am the way,
The truth, and the life,
No one comes to the Father,
Except through Me”….alone suffice.

Increase our Faith

So, with mustard seed faith,
Ask God, to move mountains,
Claim by faith, with deep assurance,
He can open up, dry fountains.

Ignore Offenses…Release Resentments

And so instead, of our resentment,
Ignore offenses, forgive their views,
Be not bound, by negativity,
Instead in love, share His Good News.

Longing for His Likeness

Like David, daily seek the LORD,
“I will see Your face in righteousness”,
His prayer and longing, be transformed,
“Be satisfied when in Your likeness.”

Faith Lessons, from Israel

Keep being filled, by God’s Spirit,
Walk by faith, ‘self’ daily dying,
Be not rebellious, nor self-serving,
Seek to obey, God’s Word applying.

Instead, we offer up our bodies,
A living sacrifice, upon His altar,
So be the fragrance of Christ,
Amidst your suffering, do not falter.
