Jesus, Building Life upon Him

For the temple of God, is holy;
Which temple you are;
So daily obey, and be His witness;
Go multiply, spread Jesus far!

We’ve ever victory, in Christ;
From trials, troubles don’t shirk;
Don’t follow feelings, but God’s Spirit;
All for His glory, finish His work.

May Jesus hold, our whole attention;
Be the exclusion, above all else;
Our hearts fixed, stay obedient;
Trust Him alone, our life success.

Know Judgment Day, God has established;
We give account, our lives on earth;
To walk by faith, obeying Jesus;
Or face God’s wrath… do seek rebirth!

Yes, we must choose, that we change;
By God’s Spirit, grace from above;
To walk in faith, over feelings;
We must obey, agape love.

For our feelings, are fleshly;
Misleading, failing us each day;
Instead believing, God in all;
Rebuke our feelings, trust and obey.

And so be wise, do not be foolish;
Do trust the LORD, to lead your way;
Not self-reliant, nor lean on others;
Instead to trust God, and obey?

Be Jesus’ witness, be His light;
Learn to obey, fulfil His vision;
Spread the Gospel, make disciples;
Boldly obey, His Great Commission.

Yes, cast upon Him, give all to God;
He does not want you, burdened down;
Instead of hoarding, ruminating;
Cast each burden, no longer bound.

And so do ponder, on your life;
To daily depend, upon the LORD;
Or just rely, on your own efforts;
Be cursed & withered, or blessings poured?
