Still Grasping Grievances, or Set Free?

So, we lift every hurt
Release all, to Him
Now laid upon Christ
Walk in grace, not sin.

As a soul, with a body
Ignore not your spirit
Jesus offers new life
Will you ask Him, come fill it?

Satan came before God
In heaven to accuse
Not to worship, nor praise
But Job, to misuse.

Know His grace is sufficient
Despite darkness and bleakness
Do abandon all to Jesus
Claim His power, in your weakness.

So compassionate, loving
So caring, keeps seeking
Speaks into men’s hearts
So, surrender… stop fleeing.

Does God have a purpose
In suffering and pain
Sorrow and sickness
Can He turn to gain?

As His sacrifice, living
Must be holy, and pure
For we dare not present
If defiled, and impure.

God allows what He hates
To achieve what He loves
He permits man to sink
That men seek Him above.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.
