Temptation

And while God offers good
Temptation brings evil
Understanding our choice
Be His righteous people.

Stay Faithful                                                 

Not to let God’s Word
Depart from their heart
But, teach to their offspring
Be diligent, to guard.

Still Grasping Grievances, or Set Free?                                                                                                        

So, we lift every hurt
Release all, to Him
Now laid upon Christ
Walk in grace, not sin.

Quiet Time with God

Yes, pray for God’s Spirit
Come speak to your soul
Not rushing while reading
Lest from Him, time you stole.

Progressing from the Truth

Yes, weigh all the evidence
Read history, seek proof
For social soundness, and blessings
God’s Word, points to Truth.

Overcoming Temptation

And so, love not the world
Nor selfishness, greed
Seek God’s glory alone
Let His Spirit, always lead.

Our Treadmill

As our Father in heaven
Fully trust Him and rest
Wholly yield God, your dreams
Achieve, what He deems best.

Our Compass

We all need, a true ‘compass’
To guide us through life
Will point, to God’s Truth
Amidst disputes and strife.

Which Choice?

Yes, do follow God’s Word
Pray for His wisdom, in all
Call upon Him, to lead us
He surely answers our call.

Never in Vain

Yes, God keeps His Word
Ever faithful and true
Stand firm, claim His promises
Given freely to you.
