Persecution is Coming

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

Do protect each Believer
Amidst hardship, remoteness
Fill them with Your Presence
Grant wisdom and boldness.

On this ‘Feast of First Fruits’
A burnt and grain offering
Foreshadowing Messiah
And His people, following.

God assures we shall pass
Yes, thru’ deep waters go
But He will be with us
They shall not overflow.

Know, in saving our life
Jesus said, we shall lose it
But if losing for Christ
We gain, God’s Holy Spirit.

If you are willing, obedient
The good you shall eat
But if you refuse and rebel
…. be devoured, by defeat.

Our motives so matter
To take, or to give
Self-serving, or God’s glory
For what do we live?

So, by faith offering God
What is pleasing to Him
Believe that He is
Rewards those seeking Him.

We all need, a true ‘compass’
To guide us through life
Will point, to God’s Truth
Amidst disputes and strife.
