Don’t Harden Your Heart
Don’t harden your heart
Staying stubborn, defiant
With grievances, grudges
Hard-headed, self-reliant.
Are You a Fool?
The fool says in his heart
There is no God
Who declares them corrupt
Abominable… none does good?
Foolish or Wise?
The fear of the LORD
Is the beginning of wisdom
But fools, despise God
His rule, and His kingdom.
So Near…So Far (The Inner…or Outer)
The soldiers were gambling
For Jesus’ garments to win
Concerned with the outer
So blind to their sin.
Hungry for God?
you hungry and thirsty
To draw nearer, to God’s Presence
Know more of His love
And taste more, of His essence?
Are You Lukewarm?
Since neither hot, nor cold
He would vomit them out
While they claimed to be rich
Needing naught, not without.
Want To Be Wise?
Know the fear of the LORD
Is the beginning of wisdom
So, if we would be wise
Will seek first God’s kingdom.
Today
Yesterday’s gone
And tomorrow’s unknown
We have, just today
To invest, wisely own.
The Prosperity Gospel
To be healthy and wealthy
They claim, ‘tis our right
But no scriptures support this
‘Tis mistaken insight.
The Drama of Life
Remember our lives
Are played on a stage
That God has designed
With plans for each age.
