Church Traditions or Jesus’ Vision?

Equipping saints, for the ministry,
How to obey and multiply,
Mentored, trained to make disciples,
To reproduce…. will we apply?

Discipleship…Disciple-Makers

See our lives, as we’re obeying,
His ‘agape’ love, we are changing,
Now Jesus’ vision, as His disciples,
Obey and go, disciple-making.

Calvary Chapel’s ‘Missing’ Ministry

So, not just faithful pastors, leaders,
Also, disciple-making from the pews,
Learning discipling, and equipping,
Keep multiplying, to spread Good News.

God’s Churches- Raising Up Laborers?

So not more time, spent in doctrines
Not so caught, in denominational traditions
While the multitudes, are lost and perishing
May churches invest, in Jesus’ Mission.

The Unreached

And so few laborers, are raised up;
In Jesus’ vision, most not partaking;
May our church leaders, start equipping;
Learn to begin, disciple-making.

Jesus Commands Us to Make Disciples

Yes, learn to witness, make disciples;
Seek to be, a disciple-maker;
Be not wrapped up, in ourselves;
Jesus calls us, our LORD and Savior.

Our Church Model versus Jesus’ Model

Yet few pastors, are so trained
Lack Jesus vision, are not obeying
Busy teaching, but rarely training
Learn to obey, disciple-making.

Churchianity or Jesus’ Christianity (Disciples Making Disciples)

So may we learn Disciple-Making;
Not forsaking, Jesus’ Command;
Calling His Followers, to reproduce;
From Churchianity, obey His plan.

The Church’s Secret

So now this secret, start obeying;
‘Disciple making’ is God’s plan;
Learn from Disciple-making movements;
Do grow and share, spread all you can.

Ever Hearing….Just not Obeying!

LORD, may our churches awaken
Equip God’s people, disciple-makers
Obeying Jesus, to go forth
Not be passive, but ‘Harvest laborers.’
