Amazing Grace, Will We Obey?

So we must share, His Good News,
Walk in love, keep His commands,
As His disciples, obey go forth,
And make disciples, in all lands.

“Keep your heart, with all diligence;
For from it, spring life issues;
Put away, a deceitful mouth;
And perverse lips, far from you”.

Yes God restores, if we’re repentant;
Start confessing, and conforming;
Start obeying, wholly yielding;
By His Spirit, filling, transforming.

Our Heart and Will, for Application;
All God reveals, obey and follow ;
To be His true, and faithful disciple;
Avoid head knowledge, merely hollow.

Memorizing, meditating,
Obey God’s Word, and constant prayer,
Total commitment to the LORD,
Be walking closer… and Jesus share!

For all Scripture, is God-breathed
Given by, divine inspiration
And is profitable for instruction
For conviction of sin, for correction.

For each day, we must choose
God’s morality, or mine
Follow His right and wrong
May we abide, in His vine.

So, surrender my rights
This day is not mine
Knowing all is from God
Not my will, but Thine.

But should we rebel
Turn from God’s Word
Disobey His commands
We surely are cursed.
