Always Seek the Truth

Though our culture condones
Approves of deception
Know God, our Creator
Expects truth, no exception.

But Jesus, the Good Shepherd
Every promise, does keep
Full of mercy and grace
Ever seeks out, lost sheep.

Whether Jew, with the Talmud
Or Muslim, the Koran
Or atheist with evolution
And now, ‘wokeness’ of man.

Still, so many today
Discard truths of scripture
Replaced by their ideas
Their feelings, their fiction.

Yes, His righteousness revealed
From faith to faith
As Habakkuk wrote
“The just shall live by faith”.

Instead walk by faith
Live for Christ, in submission
Be holy and loving
Fulfil His Great Commission.

So, learn from our culture
God’s Truth, don’t suppress
Guard God’s Word, and purpose
Only then, you’ll be blessed.

Their thoughts become futile
Their foolish hearts darkened
Professing to be wise
Become fools, and hardened.

A look into history
The power struggles of man
Within families and nations
Constant scheming, and scams.

So lay aside, our excuses
And false ‘religious’ façade
Come humbly and repent
Seek transformation, from God.
