An Ark or a Cross?
So, the ark saved in this world
With protection and provision
While Jesus’ cross, offers His life
For both here, and in heaven.
Wanting the Fruit
So let ‘self’ die, be buried
Let His roots, shoot above
Bearing fruit of His Spirit
Thro’ Christ Jesus … His love.
Waiting for Apologies?
“If you won’t forgive
God won’t forgive you”.
Strong words from the Master
Yet certain and true.
Two Mounts
Hallelujah, LORD God
Our hearts overflow
While the Law, could not save
Now atonement, all may know.
There is Always a Cost!
For we’re losing our lives
Jesus requires self-denial
Take the way of His cross
‘Tis God’s path for survival.
The Unworthy
Such love, cost Him all
Now, God counts us worthy
Exchanging His Son
For the sinful, unworthy.
Self or the Savior?
Instead, self becomes center
Instead of Christ
Our thinking, our deciding
Self-fulfilment, our prize.
The Best Christmas Gift
This Christmas, remember
The gift that God gave
His beloved dear Son
To seek and to save.
Repent
From my selfishness, pride
And self-centered ways
This hardness, indifference
Transform me… I pray!
Our Weakness, for His Strength
His strength, for your weakness
His glory, for your shame
His favor, for your fumbling
Praise His wonderful Name.
