A Call to Repentance
Start a fire, LORD we ask
And burn up the dross
Great repentance and turning
Before yet more, are lost.
God’s Forgiveness
So coming daily, in repentance
Wash me whiter than snow
The blood of Jesus, still cleanses
God’s forgiveness, ever flows.
Loveless or Loving?
Instead, Jesus commands us
To love, even our foe
So live not, based on feelings
Obey Jesus, and grow.
Been Offended?
So, each offence forgive
Repent, be reconciled
Be freed from those burdens
Pray God’s love, be recognized.
Forgive and Forgo
God has called us to love
With all of our heart
When offenders, then hurt us
To forgive, on our part.
Forgivers or Sufferers?
Since we all get offended
And respond to each other
To forgive or avenge?
God’s love, or we suffer?
An Ark or a Cross?
So, the ark saved in this world
With protection and provision
While Jesus’ cross, offers His life
For both here, and in heaven.
“I Never Knew You”
Yes, are wearing Jesus’ Name
And call themselves Christians
But are not born again
So rebellious, no contrition.
Wanting the Fruit
So let ‘self’ die, be buried
Let His roots, shoot above
Bearing fruit of His Spirit
Thro’ Christ Jesus … His love.
Waiting for Apologies?
“If you won’t forgive
God won’t forgive you”.
Strong words from the Master
Yet certain and true.
