Love Your Enemies
Jesus taught us to love
Not just neighbors, but foes
Yes, to love our enemies
If even cursing…bless those.
Live or Die
For to live, or to die
In Christ, always gain
No matter the price
No matter the pain.
Lessons from Job
Will we worship God
No matter the cost
Always honor the LORD
Whatever the loss?
Lay All on the Altar
Offer all, at His altar
Our bodies, He purchased
As living sacrifices, holy
Well pleasing… our service.
It Sometimes Gets Harder!
For the less we can do
The more we must trust
See more of God’s power
Unto Him, all entrust.
He is No Fool
Know, he is no fool
Who freely gives up
What he cannot save
To see God, fill his cup.
God’s Waiting Room
So, let us learn from waiting
God’s timing is right
Ever trust God, persevere
And ask Him for light.
God Tries Us
For our faith, pleases God
As we trust Him and wait
Without grumbling, complaining
But giving thanks, for our fate.
Fearing God for Gain?
So, Satan asked God
“Does Job fear You, for nothing
Is His worship sincere
Or does he want something?”
Facing the Furnace
As Daniel, and friends
Faced a fierce, fiery furnace
Said “Our God, can deliver
And if not, we still serve Him”.
