Deception-Seduction

But in place of God’s lordship
Satan swiftly deceived
Appealed to their senses
Denied truths, God revealed.

Forbidden Fruit

Stay far from temptations
Not seeking our pleasure
Instead, cleaving closer
To Christ, our true treasure.

In the Grip of God’s Love

Grip my heart, with Your Truth
I am loved, beyond measure
Despite all my failures
In Christ, I’m You’re treasure.

Faith or Frustrations?

Not to dwell, on sin and failure
Rather focus, on the LORD
See beyond, my upset feelings
Trusting God, see blessings poured.

Where There is No Vision

So, live not for this world
That will soon pass away
But, for our calling, eternal
To trust God, and obey.

Angry at Life?

Ask God change your view
Give thanksgiving each day
Let His Spirit control
Let Him teach you to pray.

Daily Mercies midst Afflictions

For His compassions, fail not
They are new each morning
Great is Your faithfulness
The LORD, is my portion.

Abraham: Walking by Faith

Yes, held to God’s Word
His promises, and provision
Believed God would guide
Abraham’s hope and vision.

Resist, When Tempted

Keep God’s Word, in our heart
Cry out to God, and resist
Resolve, I will obey
The Holy Spirit, will assist.

Faith amidst Adversity

So then friend, you can find
In your darkest, deep hour
God is ever, our hope
Can uphold us, by His power.
