Persecuted Christians

No! We pray and pursue
Before God and man
Send aid and finances
Petition God, for His plan.

As His soldiers, we fight
And in battle, some die
But God rewards greatly
Those He calls early, on high.

While not seeking, to suffer
We must lift Jesus, high
Wholly trust Him, and know
Sufficient grace, He’ll supply.

Will we worship God
No matter the cost
Always honor the LORD
Whatever the loss?

So, saint as you suffer
See Jesus, on His throne
Despite pain, persecution
In Him, you’re not alone.

And are we offering our help
Pleading often, in prayer
Are we giving finances
Help meet needs, and care?

His grace, always sufficient
His power, perfected in weakness
By faith, we’re made strong
In Christ Jesus, completeness.

God’s pathways, to blessings
Are not comfort and ease
But God guides through trials
So stay faithful, and believe!

So much evil in people to persecute and torture. Can God be found there amidst darkness, disorder?
