In Jesus’ suffering, God’s path
To bless fallen man
In His cross, our daily dying
God has shown us, His plan.

Yes LORD, midst oppression
May Your people shine bright
That multitudes of Afghani’s
Turn from darkness, to light.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

Great wickedness, invading.

As His soldiers, we fight
And in battle, some die
But God rewards greatly
Those He calls early, on high.

Loving may mean Suffering

While not seeking, to suffer
We must lift Jesus, high
Wholly trust Him, and know
Sufficient grace, He’ll supply.
