Come Forth as Gold

For ’tis out of the ashes
God fashions like clay
We’re now destined for glory
As we trust and obey.

Blasphemy Laws

Wholly illiterate, impoverished
Yet a Muslim Imam claimed
A blasphemous text, was sent
In English….they were blamed!

Badshah was Beaten

Badshah suffered, so greatly
And paid such a price
But by faith, he obeyed
Assured Christ would suffice.

Counted Worthy to Suffer

And we trust not in self
Despair even of life
But ’tis God, who will raise us
Out of suffering, and strife.
