Suffering-God’s Path to Blessings

In Jesus’ suffering, God’s path
To bless fallen man
In His cross, our daily dying
God has shown us, His plan.

Remember our brethren
In starvation and need
Persecuted, forgotten
Daily, do intercede.

Yes LORD, midst oppression
May Your people shine bright
That multitudes of Afghani’s
Turn from darkness, to light.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

Do protect each Believer
Amidst hardship, remoteness
Fill them with Your Presence
Grant wisdom and boldness.

No! We pray and pursue
Before God and man
Send aid and finances
Petition God, for His plan.

As His soldiers, we fight
And in battle, some die
But God rewards greatly
Those He calls early, on high.

While not seeking, to suffer
We must lift Jesus, high
Wholly trust Him, and know
Sufficient grace, He’ll supply.
