Learn from the Ungodly

Rejecting their God
Were a rebellious people
They served Baal, false idols
And, committed great evil.

So, the standard Islamic narrative
All the stories they tell
Are unfounded, by any facts
For pure deceptions, they fell.

For behind all the bloodshed
A spiritual war, deploys
With dark forces of evil
Seek God’s chosen, to destroy.

So, ponder sin’s price
Such suffering, separation
Jesus’ death on a cross
For His own creation.

We fight on three fronts
And battle away
The world, and the flesh
And the devil, each day.

O God, guard and guide us
Alone, we’ve no power
Against this great multitude
Come protect us, this hour.

God offers a promise
If His people will pray
And humble ourselves
Walk in His way.

Our values and virtues
Keep slipping and sliding
An ungodly attack
Redefining, undermining.

As we wait on the Lord
He will lift from the pit
Set our feet on His Rock
His loud praises, submit!

We wrestle not, flesh and blood
In His strength, cry aloud
Cast out every demon
In Jesus’ Name, ‘Come out’
