Our God Fights for Us

So too, claim Christ’s victory
For with Him, you are bound
Do wait on the LORD
As His child, He surrounds.

We fight on three fronts
And battle away
The world, and the flesh
And the devil, each day.

O God, guard and guide us
Alone, we’ve no power
Against this great multitude
Come protect us, this hour.

Yes, let God arise
His enemies be scattered
Those who hate Him, flee
His adversaries, shattered.

Put on God’s whole armor
To withstand that day
And having done all
We stand, and pray.

And the fiercer the fight
The more we depend
On our Captain, His army
To defeat and defend.

Do fight for your family
Right there on your knees
Claiming God’s victory
So, meeting their needs.

We wrestle not, flesh and blood
In His strength, cry aloud
Cast out every demon
In Jesus’ Name, ‘Come out’

Be strong in the LORD
Resolve to do right
Ever fearing our God
Daily walk in His light.

As you waken each morn
Put your feet out of bed
Will you turn to the Lord
A good soldier, Spirit led?
