Don’t Harden Your Heart
Don’t harden your heart
Staying stubborn, defiant
With grievances, grudges
Hard-headed, self-reliant.
Seeking Approval
So instead, of self-approval
Or seek approval, of others
Know, we’re created for God
For His approval, not another.
Are You a Fool?
The fool says in his heart
There is no God
Who declares them corrupt
Abominable… none does good?
Foolish or Wise?
The fear of the LORD
Is the beginning of wisdom
But fools, despise God
His rule, and His kingdom.
Sinking or Seeking God ?
For we’re made, for His glory
For His will, and pleasure
Our life, is not ours
We are His special treasure.
Are You Lukewarm?
Since neither hot, nor cold
He would vomit them out
While they claimed to be rich
Needing naught, not without.
Would You Exchange?
Would you exchange truth
Of God, for a lie
Serve and worship, the creature
Above the Creator…on high?
Want To Be Wise?
Know the fear of the LORD
Is the beginning of wisdom
So, if we would be wise
Will seek first God’s kingdom.
Seek Godliness with Contentment
Being godly, contented
Brings forth great gain
With food and clothing
We’re contented, remain.
Our Treadmill
As our Father in heaven
Fully trust Him and rest
Wholly yield God, your dreams
Achieve, what He deems best.
