The Homeless Messiah
With no home of His own
Jesus preached thro’ His Land
Was so driven by love
As he followed God’s plan.
So much…So little
Having so much
Yet feeling so empty
Ever needy, and searching
Amidst our great plenty.
Single-minded?
So, to live for The Master
For His glory and praise
Be faithful, single-minded
Your heart, upward raised.
Our Treadmill
As our Father in heaven
Fully trust Him and rest
Wholly yield God, your dreams
Achieve, what He deems best.
Our Perspective
As we each, look around
With our values and goals
Are they centered on Christ
And the saving of souls?
Our Passions
Yet, as we journey on
Do think on your passions
On sin and God’s judgment
Eternity, what happens?
Our Greatest Need
Then, your greatest need
God has promised to fill it
If repenting, believing
Salvation, God’s Spirit.
For What Are You Grasping?
For what are you grasping
And groping in life
Is it riches and comfort
Success, without strife?
Our Gifts & Talents
Thro’ His Spirit, God gives
In His people, are sown
Differing talents and gifts
That His glory, be known.
Our Duty or Choice?
Do learn, sit and listen
To hear the Lord’s voice
Seek His face, and presence
‘Tis our duty, not a choice.
