Be a Bearer, not a Burden
How do you treat others
As a giver, or taker?
To unburden your load
Or to share, God’s favors?
Our Treadmill
As our Father in heaven
Fully trust Him and rest
Wholly yield God, your dreams
Achieve, what He deems best.
Our Passions
Yet, as we journey on
Do think on your passions
On sin and God’s judgment
Eternity, what happens?
Our Culture, or His Cross?
Will we live then for ‘self’
And our feelings that fail?
Or follow our God
Know, His truths will prevail.
LORD, Make Us Thy Fuel
So, renew and revive us
Restore us, we pray
Send the fire of Your Presence
Come down Lord, this day.
Lessons from Jacob
When God makes a promise
It never can fail
Tho’ the vessels He uses
Seem often, so frail.
Jars of Clay
We’re just, jars of clay
Mere, earthen vessels
Yet we choose, how to fill
Be unique, and special.
If We will but Heed
But should we rebel
Turn from God’s Word
Disobey His commands
We surely are cursed.
How Do You Respond?
You can end up as bitter
Even doubt God is there
…Or choose to trust Him
That God knows, and He cares.
Great Falling Away
The flames may have died
Fierce passions, ran dry
Many churches, dwindling
Are now asking why?
