Why Are We Here?
We are here for God’s business
His purpose, not our own
Bringing Him glory
Go make disciples, seeds sown.
Be a Finisher…Gideon’s Downfall
But then sadly, he succumbed
Asked for earrings, from his plunder
Israel gave him much gold
He made an ephod, an evil blunder.
Backsliding
The flames may have died
Fierce passions, ran dry
Many churches, dwindling
Are now asking why?
Your Goal
Your life you can build
On His Word and His will
His pleasure and purpose
You are finally fulfilled.
A Starter… or a Finisher?
So dear saint, learn God’s lesson
Jesus tells us abide
In His vine, lest we’re pruned
Cast away, for our faith died.
Sinking or Seeking God ?
For we’re made, for His glory
For His will, and pleasure
Our life, is not ours
We are His special treasure.
Would You Exchange?
Would you exchange truth
Of God, for a lie
Serve and worship, the creature
Above the Creator…on high?
Seek Godliness with Contentment
Being godly, contented
Brings forth great gain
With food and clothing
We’re contented, remain.
Rebelling against God
So repent and return
Submit to God, full of favor
Desires only our good
Obey Christ, as your Savior.
Our Perspective
As we each, look around
With our values and goals
Are they centered on Christ
And the saving of souls?
