Thanksgiving

Are you thankful this year
That His blessings abound
Pray He open your eyes
‘Till you see them around.

For death, is but a doorway;
To our true heavenly home;
And this life, is so fleeting;
We are not our own.

So precious saint, do realize;
God desires to save and use you;
Go share Good News, of salvation;
Messiah Jesus, is ever with you.

So precious saint, wholly resolve;
To walk by faith, not feelings;
Claim God’s promises, and obey;
Not your flesh, trust Jesus’ teachings.

So, as a child of the King;
Charlie now, is with His LORD;
As we grieve, for such a sacrifice;
Pray great blessing, be richly poured.

Laying hold, His every promise
We are a child, of God divine
Trust Him wholly, amidst our suffering
He will deliver, His perfect time.

Yes, give thanks for all
Whate’er life brings
Loudly, praise His Name
He will use everything.

Yes, His righteousness revealed
From faith to faith
As Habakkuk wrote
“The just shall live by faith”.

Remember our lives
Are played on a stage
That God has designed
With plans for each age.

This Christmas, remember
The gift that God gave
His beloved dear Son
To seek and to save.
