Rebelling or Reaping?

So, we likewise must repent
Of rebelling, and sleeping
We should rather, seek God
Not self-serving, but reaping.

So, we lift every hurt
Release all, to Him
Now laid upon Christ
Walk in grace, not sin.

Keep watching and praying
By the LORD, you’re assigned.
Yes, pray until victory
Let His Spirit guide.

So, prepare well for heaven
Through Jesus, the Lord
Spend more time in prayer
And sharing God’s Word.

God allows what He hates
To achieve what He loves
He permits man to sink
That men seek Him above.

Our motives so matter
To take, or to give
Self-serving, or God’s glory
For what do we live?

As we worship our King
No distractions, nor despair
No trials, nor temptations
All perfect splendor, forever there.

Through Yeshua, Messiah
God’s Spirit within
Lord guide and empower me
…Let the New Year begin.

Seems marriage today
Lacks God at the center
Now, it’s all about ‘me’
With no plan, to surrender.

So, serve one another
And think of their best
Forgive, when they fail you
And try not to test.
