Keep Interceding

That instead, of selfish pleasures
Intercede, for more salvations
The Lord Jesus, returns soon
We must pray for all nations.

So, pray in accord
With His Word, and ways
Every promise proclaim
Thro’ our lives, all our days.

And tell Him in worship
He is all that you need
If prayerfully awaiting
God will answer indeed.

Our High Priest, the LORD Jesus
Who taught us to pray
By His Spirit, in our weakness
Intercedes, leads the way.

By Your Spirit, I’m reborn
By Your Spirit, empower
By Your Spirit, do direct
By Your Spirit, overpower.

By constant prayer, keep seeking
Lest we wander, and fall
Ever dependent, await
God’s Word and wisdom, in all.

Know, our God will not fail
We will taste no defeat
For He ever conquers
Come worship, at His feet.

Remember our brethren
In starvation and need
Persecuted, forgotten
Daily, do intercede.

Yes, pray for God’s Spirit
Come speak to your soul
Not rushing while reading
Lest from Him, time you stole.

So, draw near to God
Repentant and yearning
Hungering and thirsting
Worshiping, and learning.
