How Big is our Faith?

So, in prayer think not ‘how’
But rather, center on ‘Who’
‘Tis the God, of all creation
Who is listening to you.

We have but to heart-cry
Even if not speaking
The LORD surely hears
All that you are seeking.

Know God will reward
Those diligently seeking
Who by faith, obey
Both His call, and leading.

Our culture’s sadly, so secular
Church attendance, fast falling
Need God’s help, to resolve this
Are we on our knees, calling?

For this vessel is thirsty
I come open, and empty
O Lord, come and fill
From Your rivers of plenty.

And the fiercer the fight
The more we depend
On our Captain, His army
To defeat and defend.

But, by faith we’re forgiven
By faith we are saved
By faith, keep abiding
And by faith, will be raised.

So, stop looking to people
To meet all you’re needing
Since God will supply
More praying, and believing!

And come ask in faith
Not doubting reluctant
Plead but for God’s will
Persist boldly, exultant.

I keep asking and seeking
Knocking and believing
For heavenly showers
With the Lord, I keep pleading.
