Worship the LORD

Our purpose in life
Our calling, our goal
To worship the LORD
With heart, mind and soul.

Not a brief ‘Worship Service’
Once a week, set aside
But an attitude, of worship
Through each day, to abide

Take hold of me, LORD
Completely possess
Come fill every part
Transform me, and bless.

Yes Lord, let Your love
Be poured in my heart
No longer I live
May Christ, fill each part.

Wait on the Lord
For His timing, not mine
And trust Him, whatever
For His hour, divine.

While waiting, grow strong
Learn to lean on the LORD
Grow in faith, endurance
See blessings, then poured.

Wait for God’s answers
Don’t struggle and stress
Quieten your heart
For His time, is best.

Know, our God will not fail
We will taste no defeat
For He ever conquers
Come worship, at His feet.

Unceasing prayer means victory
For then we truly lean
Not on our strength and wisdom
But heavenly power, unseen.

For our Father, the vine-dresser
Is pruning, discarding
As branches, of His vine
For more fruit…keep abiding.
