Our Anchor, Our Salvation

The One offering Himself
As our Passover Lamb
Atoned for our sin
Will we trust Him, or man?

So, until that day comes
When all evil is ended
Claim victory, in prayer
Overcome, we’re defended.

Seek but the Lord
Not for what He can do
But simply enjoy Him
Alone, He and you.

An ‘impossible’ faith
Grows from passion within
A great vision of God
And a battle to win.

Pouring out, His mighty Spirit

No longer to struggle
In life’s battles, then lose
A new creature in Christ
For His glory, to use.

Ever faithful and true
His Word cannot fail
Fulfilling each promise
Will perform and prevail.

For we have no power
Know not, what to do
Against this great foe
But our eyes are on You.
