Know God’s Word, teaches both
God’s sovereignty, His will
But also, our heart’s free choice
To stay hardened, or Spirit filled.

His living waters, purify
Bring us life, tho’ we are dead
No other waters, no other way
Alone our fountain, our living head.

Grip my heart, with Your Truth
I am loved, beyond measure
Despite all my failures
In Christ, I’m You’re treasure.

Our life’s full of troubles
Tribulations, each day
Yet instead of our resting
We keep struggling, our way.

Without a vision
The people will perish
Need a future and hope
God’s Word, to cherish.

For His love in Christ Jesus
Our Lord, is love eternal
We are forever, in His hand
More than secure, His love encircles.

By Your Spirit, I’m reborn
By Your Spirit, empower
By Your Spirit, do direct
By Your Spirit, overpower.

By constant prayer, keep seeking
Lest we wander, and fall
Ever dependent, await
God’s Word and wisdom, in all.

So, until that day comes
When all evil is ended
Claim victory, in prayer
Overcome, we’re defended.

Do sanctify, purify
This vessel of clay
And use for Your glory
Your plans, each day.
