Billions in Bondage

So why continue, in futility,
False beliefs, that but deceive?
So, pray and share with barren lives,
That Jesus Christ, invites believe!

So we must share, His Good News,
Walk in love, keep His commands,
As His disciples, obey go forth,
And make disciples, in all lands.

But seems, we’ve been duped;
Pagan customs revived;
Will we follow Jesus;
Or demons disguised?

Yes God restores, if we’re repentant;
Start confessing, and conforming;
Start obeying, wholly yielding;
By His Spirit, filling, transforming.

Since our body, is God’s temple;
Is not our own, we must be pure;
Be not tainted, with pollution;
Sin ruins lives, yet even more.

If we’re ashamed of Jesus;
And of His words, He warns;
The Son of Man, will be ashamed;
Of each of us, when He returns.

For now in Christ, it is our body
That is the temple, of the LORD
His Spirit, to dwell within us
Be dedicated, His glory poured.

So, choose forgiveness and love
For God’s truth, sets us free
From old attitudes, reactions
Call on Jesus, to Him flee.

Take hold of me, LORD
Completely possess
Come fill every part
Transform me, and bless.

God’s wisdom will keep us
From these evil ways
So, hear instruction
Trust God, and obey.
