Praying with Confidence

Since our God, is all able
Creator, of heavens and earth
Sent Jesus, bought our salvation
How we’re valued, of great worth.

So, saint as you pray
Persist in prayer, like manner
Resolute and resolved
Have great faith, be like Hannah.

God assures we shall pass
Yes, thru’ deep waters go
But He will be with us
They shall not overflow.

Awaiting Your coming
Our hope, so blessed
Your glorious appearing
Unfailing love, expressed.

So, by faith offering God
What is pleasing to Him
Believe that He is
Rewards those seeking Him.

Scattered, through sin
The scriptures foretold
Now fulfilling prophesy
God’s Word of old.

Jesus marveled, in wonder
To His disciples, revealing
The centurion’s great faith
For his servant’s healing.

Thirst for Jesus’, living waters
And walk in God’s Spirit
Set your mind on His Word
“LORD, this vessel, daily fill it”.

A faith based on facts
So fully supported
In the LORD God, eternal
Who created and ordered.

Do teach us to pray
To wrestle in prayer
With compassion, conviction
Certain our God, does care.
