Struggling to Expect Miracles?

“Now the just shall live by faith
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
So, seek much faith, do not lack.

Be willing, to die daily
See self-crucified
As a child of the King
In Christ, all supplied.

My body, His temple
For worship and praise
Released from my prison
To new life, am raised.

Are we seeing beyond
Life’s heartaches and pain
Great suffering, and sorrow
…Yet see God, bring gain?

The One offering Himself
As our Passover Lamb
Atoned for our sin
Will we trust Him, or man?

Fully trusting God’s promises
With obedience to His word
Being steadfastness in prayer
By circumstances, undeterred.

God uses all ways
To turn up the heat
To soften our hearts
Our hardness, defeat.

When we’re failing and falling
And we’re hitting, rock bottom
We can stand, on Christ Jesus
Our sure Rock, and still blossom.

His living waters, purify
Bring us life, tho’ we are dead
No other waters, no other way
Alone our fountain, our living head.

That instead, of selfish pleasures
Intercede, for more salvations
The Lord Jesus, returns soon
We must pray for all nations.
