Pray for God’s Will

Jesus taught us, to pray
To our Father in heaven
That His will be done
On earth as in heaven.

For Jesus only, our Creator
Living in us, He can supply
His grace, ever sufficient
Simply trust Him, and abide.

So, friend do drink deeply
Of His living waters, each day
That your mind-set, your attitude
Is to but love, and obey.

As you look in the mirror
Who do you see
A child of the King
Or, the old fallen ‘me’?

Our life is a garden
We tend, and we sow
Bright flowers, or weeds
We choose what will grow.

So, by faith offering God
What is pleasing to Him
Believe that He is
Rewards those seeking Him.

For in Him, resurrection
We arise from the dead
To an inheritance, incorruptible
That for us, waits ahead.

May our leaders, seek God’s wineskins
A fresh vison of Jesus’ call
A holy people, disciple-making
Going forth and reaching all.

Jesus marveled, in wonder
To His disciples, revealing
The centurion’s great faith
For his servant’s healing.

So, give and will be given you
Good measure, pressed down
Shaken together, running over
Our giving surely, turns around.
