But Our Eyes Are On You
For we have no power
Know not, what to do
Against this great foe
But our eyes are on You.
Blessed or Barren?
Are you blessed in your life
Or still staying barren
So long to bear fruit
But it just doesn’t happen.
Be Grateful
Instead count your blessings
Turn daily to God
Be grateful and thankful
For all you have got.
Be Filled with God’s Spirit
God tells us, be filled
With His Spirit, within
But except we repent
Lies a barrier, of sin.
Abide
Do abide in the vine
Remain in His love
Keep growing in grace
Stay blessed from above.
A Shrub or Fruit Tree?
Yet, we’re given a choice
Of seeds that we sow
To bring forth our harvest
Which fruit, shall we grow?
A Primer on Cultivation
Cultivate a great thirst
And hunger for God
Ask the Good Shepherd feed
And guide with His rod.
A Flickering Lamp
Stay filled, with His Spirit
God’s Word, and pray
Keep asking He fill
Your lamp every day.
A Double Portion
With our “good works,” “religion” whose fruit do we bear, God’s spirit, or self, Jesus’ love…or self-care?
