Living by Faith

A faith based on facts
So fully supported
In the LORD God, eternal
Who created and ordered.

Is your light shining bright
For the glory of God
Or has your wick dimmed
On the journey you trod?

As Jesus taught them, to focus
Upon God, and His greatness
‘Tis not, the size of our faith Know unforgiveness, constrains us.

So, in prayer think not ‘how’
But rather, center on ‘Who’
‘Tis the God, of all creation
Who is listening to you.

Godliness, with contentment
Is truly great gain
We brought naught in this world
And we exit, the same.

Know Christ is our Rock
Our beginning and end
Our faith wholly rests
On the Savior, God sent.

Jesus told us, deny self
And take up our cross
Come follow after Him
Count all else as loss.

You must give up all ‘rights’
Your old life, a ‘foreclosure’
Since redeemed, by Christ Jesus
You are His, a new owner.

Know grace, is given daily
For the need of the hour
So feed daily, on the Lord
On today’s grace, His power.

Are you blessed in your life
Or still staying barren
So long to bear fruit
But it just doesn’t happen.
