A Godly Wife

With death to self-will
The way of the Cross
By grace submit all
With the Lord, ‘tis not loss.

Counting her greater
Than your own desires
The Lord will give grace
To lift her up higher.

Yes, our new heavenly home
All so perfect, and pure
Our eternal abode
And forever secure.

And beyond death, life eternal
Before His glory, we’ll be
Assured, forever with Jesus
O how blessed, are we!

So, by faith offering God
What is pleasing to Him
Believe that He is
Rewards those seeking Him.

For in Him, resurrection
We arise from the dead
To an inheritance, incorruptible
That for us, waits ahead.

As Jesus taught them, to focus
Upon God, and His greatness
‘Tis not, the size of our faith Know unforgiveness, constrains us.

Ever faithful and true
His Word cannot fail
Fulfilling each promise
Will perform and prevail.

Know grace, is given daily
For the need of the hour
So feed daily, on the Lord
On today’s grace, His power.
