Passing Through the Waters

God assures we shall pass
Yes, thru’ deep waters go
But He will be with us
They shall not overflow.

So, friend do drink deeply
Of His living waters, each day
That your mind-set, your attitude
Is to but love, and obey.

Jesus marveled, in wonder
To His disciples, revealing
The centurion’s great faith
For his servant’s healing.

Thirst for Jesus’, living waters
And walk in God’s Spirit
Set your mind on His Word
“LORD, this vessel, daily fill it”.

A faith based on facts
So fully supported
In the LORD God, eternal
Who created and ordered.

For the less we can do
The more we must trust
See more of God’s power
Unto Him, all entrust.

Do teach us to pray
To wrestle in prayer
With compassion, conviction
Certain our God, does care.

Yes, God will reply
As we lift holy hands
Be persistent, prevailing
Await on God’s plans.

As Jesus taught them, to focus
Upon God, and His greatness
‘Tis not, the size of our faith Know unforgiveness, constrains us.

So, am focused no longer
On my feelings and flaws
But His grace, for each need
Trust Him, to open doors.
