Out of Control?

Not by our own efforts
Our flesh, cannot conquer
We need Jesus’ power
Without Him, we falter.

Self-Control

And as a branch, in His vine
Jesus tells us, keep abiding
To bear fruit, of God’s Spirit
His ‘Self-control’, He is providing.

Walk in the Spirit or Flesh?

For if ignoring, or ignorant
Of God’s truth and reality
We’re poorly armed in the fight
Against temptation, so face calamity.

Our Anchor, Our Salvation

The One offering Himself
As our Passover Lamb
Atoned for our sin
Will we trust Him, or man?

Great Faith, God is Able

Fully trusting God’s promises
With obedience to His word
Being steadfastness in prayer
By circumstances, undeterred.

God’s Pressure Cooker

God uses all ways
To turn up the heat
To soften our hearts
Our hardness, defeat.

Attitudes and Habits

So, choose forgiveness and love
For God’s truth, sets us free
From old attitudes, reactions
Call on Jesus, to Him flee.

What Does God Expect of Me?

Be teachable, be open
As clay in God’s hand
Humble, repentant
Obey, all He commands.

Failing, Falling or Faith?

When we’re failing and falling
And we’re hitting, rock bottom
We can stand, on Christ Jesus
Our sure Rock, and still blossom.

Living Water

His living waters, purify
Bring us life, tho’ we are dead
No other waters, no other way
Alone our fountain, our living head.
