Overcoming Attitudes

So, friend do drink deeply
Of His living waters, each day
That your mind-set, your attitude
Is to but love, and obey.

As you look in the mirror
Who do you see
A child of the King
Or, the old fallen ‘me’?

No longer to struggle
In life’s battles, then lose
A new creature in Christ
For His glory, to use.

Thirst for Jesus’, living waters
And walk in God’s Spirit
Set your mind on His Word
“LORD, this vessel, daily fill it”.

A faith based on facts
So fully supported
In the LORD God, eternal
Who created and ordered.

So, give and will be given you
Good measure, pressed down
Shaken together, running over
Our giving surely, turns around.

Is your light shining bright
For the glory of God
Or has your wick dimmed
On the journey you trod?

Fulfilling the Scriptures
Yeshua, God’s Son
Atones for our sins
Thro’ Him, battles are won.

Am longing, Your Spirit
May take full control
Wholly dwelling and filling
Am yielding, my whole.

So sinful, so selfish
I surrender my all
Holy Spirit, come fill
May You Lord, have all.
